a little triangle of all-natural sugilite sits in my raw copper and silver open-back setting. pierced to let the light through an otherwise deeply colored stone, this little gem brightens in the sunshine and sits directly against the skin ~~ another healing stone ~~

From the lapidary:
"Here is a buff bar of highly translucent sugilite "gel", cut from some very old stock rough. This triangle has great color and took a nice polish.  A lucky find at Tucson this year.  The rough material is now close to impossible to find at any price.  But I found some small pieces at an ungodly high price.  It doesn't get much better than this. Collector quality for sure. Bright sugilite gel, with a hint of gem richterite."

What a beaut! The first of its kind!  A gorgeous piece of amethyst sits in my raw copper and recycled silver mixed-metal signature ring.  Always refining and trying new things, I cut a section out of a band this time and soldered the exposed ends to the outside of the bezel, allowing for an open-back setting to let the magic through!  The amethyst was hand-cut from faceted rough by an Oregon-based lapidary artist and is truly a gem.  Translucent to transparent, the stone has excellent color and some interesting patterning. The whole piece was given an oxidized + brushed finish and the copper around the stone will darken with time.  Will fit like a 6 1/2.

chain: 16" oxidized sterling silver

These little moon babes are in the shop! The small size and short chain are absolutely perfect for everyday wear! Each crescent is cut from raw copper with a jeweler's saw, soldered to sterling silver, oxidized and hand finished, making each piece slightly unique. Available in a simple crescent, crescent with stars, "la luna", or "la lune". These 4 are ready-to-ship!
